This week, here in Roswell, is the anniversary of what is known as "The Roswell Incident". I'm sure most of you know the story, but for those of you who may not, here's the story...
During the first week in July 1947, a strange object crashed to Earth near the small town of Roswell, NM. The first person who found the wreckage, reported the it to the sheriff, who then informed the Intelligence Officer at the Roswell Army Air Base. On July 8th several days after the wreckage was recovered and examined, the RAAB, put out a press release stating that it had recovered a "flyng saucer" from a ranch near Roswell. Then several hours later, the base issued a second release, recinding the first, and stating that the wreckage recovered, belonged not to a "flying saucer" but to a weather baloon, and ever since, people have been trying to discover the "trurh" behind what is now referred to as "The Roswell Incident".
What is the "truth", who knows, but, all this week, experts from all over the world will gather here to discuss just that. Also, some of the strangest people you've ever met, will gather here to tell their tales of Alien experiences. All in all it's a fun week.
