Ok, a little more about me. I know i talk about where I've been for work all the time and not much else. First off, I am a cyclist (road, moutain, cyclocross, and single speed). It's my passion and it has helped definite my life for better or worse for more than 20 yrs. It's crazy that it's been that long but it's true. I went to school eons ago initially for mechanical engineering (didn't study, changed majors) and then business management. But some how or other i managed to get a job in the bicycle industry to help support my racing habit. Probably not the smartest move, but it was a move out of passion for what i loved to do and what i believed in. 20 some odd years later i'm still a believer in the sport and all the positive benefits it has on ones self and the world around us. Yes, my job is still in the bicycle industry. I guess that's why i talk about work all the time... it has become something that defines who i am and what i believe in. Yes, i know that can be a bad thing (mixing work and passion), but i'm ok with it right now. And honestly I have no idea what else I'd like to do for work if "i ever grow up".
So all that being said, I'm off to Cali for a week on Monday (work at our main office) and then off to Vegas for the following week (tradeshow). Then Maryland, DC, and NC in October. The 'fun' never stops.
Oh, it was also asked if I have pets. I do... a 17 lb orange tabby cat named George. He's not a fat cat, just really big. Kinda makes people a little nervous when they first meet him because of his size.
I guess the last thing is i turn 40 next week. Crazy... I don't feel old at all. In fact, i feel like i'm still in my 20's. Which might explain why I haven't figure out what I'm gonna do with my life when i grow up. I guess i really am turning into a 'dirty old man' after all. I'm ok with that as long as it still makes me feel young, and i don't offend to many people in the process.
