it's hard to believe this year is almost over...seriously. i don't know where it went! i spent the better part of this year travelling for work. a LOT of hours of driving (3k-5k per month) and a lot of time in hotels. days, weeks, months of time all seem to get lost in a giant blur of what just happened and where am i now. the bummer of the year is that i am never around in the town i live (and really enjoy), chattanooga. never really got to spend time with any of my friends or family, or teammates that i didn't get a chance to race with this year. the highlight of my year was getting to spend 8 days in Japan. it was for work but it was still a really cool experience and i would love to go back and spend more time there.
next year... less travel, more time with friends and family, more play time, and a happier me! that's the plan at least.
