got fired today.

this is not the worst thing that could happen.

it's weird. i have no means of income as of 8:30 a.m. today, but i feel strangely free. i didn't realize how suffocating my job had become. it consumed me, and i didn't even enjoy this job. i feel like i have wasted three years of my life, to be honest.

in the back of my mind, i know what lies ahead for me- gotta get the resume' together. gotta get new clothes for interviews. gotta check the classifieds and job sites. network with friends to see if anyone's hiring. re-work my budget so i can see how much of a pay cut i can take and still keep the bills paid.

but right now it doesn't matter. i guess this is the push i needed.
