nothing frustrates me more: i make a casual, flippant, obviously tongue-in-cheek comment to a friend, something that is just so over the top and out of character for me that it must be a joke, and she gets pissed.

it wasn't even as mean as any teasing she's ever given me.

all i said was that since i hadn't heard from her in a week, she must not have needed anything from me. that's it. she hangs up on me and then replies to my text message stating i was joking with something mean.

i just don't get it.
