what the fuck is up with so many peoples' parents freaking out and either cutting off phone lines, taking away computer cables, or cancelling internet services out of spite?
it seems like there's been a rash of it going on around here, and now my gf's mom pulled that shit on her.
i hadn't heard from her in a couple weeks and i was really starting to worry and could never get an answer when i called her. now i know why.
i never thought i had such a good relationship with my parents before, but now that i've heard some stories and seen firsthand how many are just whacked, i'm really thankful i got who i got.

financially, i can send her a little cash, but she refuses and it's not enough to help her make it on her own unless we live together.
believe me, i don't think it's a good idea that anyone in their 20's, working full-time, should still live at home except in dire circumstances, but you can't tell anyone that.
