Alright what's happened in the last few days. We "finally" have a show scheduled. It's on July 17th at good old Voodoo in Akron (our home place I guess), with the guys from Corpse Forest (it's their cd release party, hopefully they have a cd to release this time). That'll be cool, haven't had a chance to see them play in a while, sucks bands always play the weekend, and I always have Monday, Tuesday off of work. Oh well. I get to go see Atreyu and FATA in May and Calico System some time in July I think.
I guess we might also have a show June 11th at the Voodoo, but we're not sure yet, and we don't know if we'll be ready by then. We had what I'd call our first productive practice since I joined yesterday though. Got most of the new song done, it sounds bad ass so I'm very excited about that. I'm supposed to be updating the website today, but I'll probably either get to that late tonight or tomorrow sometime. Have to write some mad PHP scriptage for the image page and the like. Not looking forward to that.
Eric let me borrow Kill Bill 1. There wasn't a single part of the movie I disliked, but I didn't like it as a whole. It didn't have the dialogue I was expecting, but they tell me the second one does, so Saturday I'll probably try and get someone to go to that with me. I'm still waiting for Troy to come out. Brad Pitt being a bad ass, and massive sword violence always equals a good time. We went to see "The Girl Next Door" yesterday. It was ok. Funny stuff here and there, some guys head explodes through a windshield, so that's always good. The girl was mad pretty too. Can't complain there.
So yeah waiting for Eric to call me to tell me if we're rocking out today or not. Hopefully so, I want to play some, and hopefully get my setup tweaked a little. Anyways I'm rambling like mad so I'm off for now. Peace.
