Our Corgi puppy got to play in the snow for the first time yesterday, she was pretty stoked.
My mom got me a toy remote controlled helicopter for christmas, besides making me feel like a little kid, the cat loves it!
I also got this for christmas:
I'm pretty excited to give it a try and see how epicly bad I'm going to fail at brewing my own beer.
Also this is pretty swell stuff:
Christmas was a hassle. We had to do her family, her grandparents, my family, and a party at my brother's new place. Besides being hectic all of that wouldn't have been so bad if her family wouldn't have flipped out about her not being home the entire holiday and trying to guilt her into spending more time there. Which led me to find out that when my wife is upset I become an extremely defensive and upset person, which is kind of an odd thing for me. I'm generally the passive aggressive, cut someone down in as few syllables as possible kind of person when I'm upset, but I was pretty much ready to let loose and give hell christmas eve. Luckily I got her to cheer up before we arrived and all was well.
I finally got around to watching this:
and it deeply disturbed me. It was so beautiful to watch and yet so heart breaking at the same time.
We have 2 or 3 new years parties to hit, but I'm the DD this year because the wife wants to cut loose. Not throwing up on someones porch sounds like a nice change of pace though. New Years Eve is like my favorite holiday in disguise, I forget that I love it so much until it actually shows up. So many stupid memories from past years. Having picked up this little iFlip video camera should prove entertaining this year.
Anyone have any good plans for new years eve?
