Went and got a new TV tonight so we have it when we move into our new place at the end of the month.
It's a budget brand, but it's gotten good reviews, and for the price it's pretty nice. I have it set up in my room right now with a Genesis hooked up to it. Playing MK2 on a 42" screen is childish goodness. That was the last "major" purchase we needed to make to be ready to move, so I'm excited that it's out of the way.
Watched a couple of movies this weekend, the best of which was:
The last 40 minutes or so was just fantastic. I also finally saw Dewey Cox, which appealed greatly to the 12 year old in me. And we rounded out the night with Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter, which was.....terrible.
I also found the sweetest shark bottle opener this side of awesome on clearance at Target
(I've actually had my eye on it for some time, but it was on clearance this time, so I seized the day!)
And since I'm a copycat, and I like when people end their updates with questions
What is your favorite game on the Genesis? Who do you want at the Superbowl?
