Upstate yet again, the insidious groove of Public Enemy vibrating from desktop speakers, a Sierra Nevada freshly cracked and a pack of smokes and it's complimenting ashtray just waiting to be overfilled with the many extinguished to come.

A week behind me of considerations, surprises, and adjustments. In which I'll attempt to summarize now.

Starting a week and a day past. Dead broke as the reoccuring burden for the rest of the week's story. Counting change for cigarettes, a friend and I's desire to be immoderately intoxicated becomes reality as an ol' comic art teacher of mine (and current liquor store attendant) void's the debit cards transaction and happily bags and cardboards the bottle of vodka that would soon enough rot our insides.
The plot, which gives way to two other participants, concerning bedroom karaoke, vodka, vodka, the deafening of ears to Freezepop's rendition of the Jem and The Holograms theme on repeat (we are the misfits!), and then a semi-nude photoset procured by yours truly with a very american Betsy Ross theme following some ridiculous and partially staged timer pics that I do wish I had current access to but you'll just have to sit pretty with one of the initial Betsy pics and I'll either amend this or post later with the group shots. My sincerest to anyone who actually cares.

The next night a party in the West Village, a good friend of countless years as the host, last nights 2 additionary participants with the promise of funding my arrivial, i'm told I need a date and a costume from someone who's sadly misinformed, and for what follows I thank him. I quickly cook up a mad scientist outfit from the adornments of my mannequin (do ask), black wig, lab goggles, red tie and a lab coat and then later at the party i'll see others of the scientist variety cementing the fact that it does not pay being lazy and unprepared. Unless you count my date, excuse me "nondate", whose last year's flamenco dancer ensemble can and will be considered as striking. Null that unprepared notion plz kthx. Our just meeting and our timely evacuation of said party to a specific dive bar with such features as stripper poles and impromptu dance sessions would continue as the prelude to the rest of the weeks interactions.
Her being my favorite part of it's entirety and certainly of right now. Pabst Blue Ribbon and Stella Atrois and the bite marks and bruises that would follow.

Then picture me Tuesday afternoon on the phone not so sure of my pending move counting change for ghetto bus/subway routes out to the city for grilled cheese and tater tots. The painting of rooms, the sounds of a Korean elderly neighbor as our quit smoking ad, breakfast in bed, and General Hospital.

Upstate now with intentions of a non-nondate with the generous pay i'm looking to recieve from my father for my trifling bits of housework.
Status quo being that all is well.

the timed pic amendment.
