I recently got shit on and passed over again for someone lesser than me. This last time was a very big slap in the face and a surprise not only to me but just about everyone that works here. It just lets me know where I stand with management and where I will always stand. The bottom line is I am viewed as a threat or a problem. Managements idea of a good leader is a "yes man" who will do what every they want without question. I am not that guy.
The bad thing about it is that I am now still floating, this week alone I am on all 3 shifts. My primary shift for the next 4 months is night shift. So that will put me at 5 months of night shift. Awesome. The one good thing is that night shift is the hide shift. You really don't see or deal with management at all.

So this is "battle cat". There are tons of stray animals over here. Packs of wild dogs, all kinds of feral cats. She started coming around about a year ago. At first she wouldn't come near anyone. We started leaving food out for her and she would cautiously eat it. She started getting closer to us but still no touching. She then started following us around with no touching. She started rubbing up against us and not letting us pet her, she would take off anytime you tried. Finally after a couple months of this she started letting us pet her.
She has turned into a complete and total whore. She meows like fucking crazy and has gotten very bold. It is very cold here and at night we open the window in the office and she jumps in. We feed her and pet her most of the night. She now walks all around our office. We have to leave the window open though or she freaks the hell out. She is such a cool cat and we spoil her rotten.
She also hunts and kills quite a lot of animals around here. She is a badass cat. I probably spoil her the most and give her lots of tuna and other goodies. She makes us happy and we take as good of care of her as we can.
