Two days until Xmas so why not update? I will be working both Xmas and New Year. That is fine. Nothing else to do and I get paid double, so fuck it. This will be nothing new. I have been home for xmas 3 times since 1991. Most of them I have been deployed or somewhere else. Plus the holidays really only hold bad memories of bad times so I am used to this and kind of like it.
Just finished reading "Shot in the Heart" by Mikal Gilmore. Wow. Fucking incredible. Beautifully brutal. Just an amazing book. I couldn't put it down and plowed through it in 3 days.
SG seems so much different now. Some of the classics are going away, being less active, archiving. I still love it but it just has a different feel to it. Oh well.

What classics are you talking about? the only one I know of is GoGo.
As for your question, I just got sick of not being me, and I'll be busy for the next few days with things other than jobhunting. I still haven't found anything yet.
Hope your Christmas sucked less than most. But yeah, I'm fairly convinced that the whole holiday season does nothing but make most of us feel worse by demanding that we pretend to feel great.
