Or how I plan to resurrect an old script idea involving superheroes.

Long ago, I wrote an (highly derivative/cliche ridden) original superhero screenplay. I was rather young in my writing career, so it's riddled with plot-holes, cliches, and really awful dialogue.

Well, having just re-read "Watchmen," and a string of other classic comic stories, I've decided to dig up that old screenplay, and try to rework it, add some aspects of modern society/American culture I have come to hate, and turn it into one part "fucking awesome, dark as fuck, superhero film," and one part "scathing dark satire of modern vapid culture". You know, like Alan Moore would do... if he didn't hate movies so much.

Only problem: My brain is so full of ideas, it might work better as a miniseries, but then I have to find a team of animators to animate 5 hours of material.

Oh, did I mention I want it to be animated, and look like an actual comic book (style-wise)? No? Sorry, I totally should've mentioned that.

So, time to drag out that script, see what ideas can be salvaged, and where my now considerably more crazy brain can go with everything.
