So, today is Day 2 of my "break" from filmmaking, and, despite swearing I'm taking time off, I spent my entire morning working on my long-term building project: my camera dolly. Built the first version in 2012 (no photo exists, only this shitty sketch):
Built a working version in 2013 for my film "Inheritance"
And now I've greatly improved it; I can get shots from 19 inches off the ground has high as 7 feet in the air.
3 years of work, injuries, stress, more injuries, and random failed plans has finally paid off.
So, sorry break, but I need to make a film so I can play with my new technological terror.
