Don't worry, I don't mean from here. I have problems vanishing from this site as it is, so I'm still trying to work on that.
The break I'm talking about is from film production stuff. Although I know what film I'm working on next, all of the preproduction work for "Retirement" took up the better part of a year, and I think I'd like to enjoy some time for a bit before diving into a new project.
That being said, one of the actress from that zombie film I made (the one I still need to finish editing because I still plan on releasing it), got up with me lately, and in our conversations, we came up with an idea for a rather unique zombie film.
I haven't started writing anything yet, but think of it as one part "Full Metal Jacket," another part "Behind Enemy Lines," add zombies, comedy/parody/satire, and stir. This is currently what my brain is doing, and I fucking love it.
So my momentary break from work may turn into writing a new feature length script, which will be the first one in about two years.
