I spent about 8 or 9 hours, over two evenings, trying all sorts of weird combinations of light settings, angles, and filters trying to perfect the art of lighting an interior night scene... none of them worked.
So, I got a random hunch to try messing with some old footage shot in broad daylight, and I spent about 5 minutes doing this.
And, of course, that five minutes resulted in exactly what I wanted. So, my work with night lighting is done for interiors, now on to the madness of exteriors.
So long, sleep. Time to get back to work!
