I now know the pain of my graphic design friends, who are asked to work for free. Yes, I have camera equipment (perhaps too much, but that's a debate for a different day), and yes, advertising is something I'm looking into, but I don't appreciate being asked to make a commercial for free simply because I already have the equipment. Editing takes forever, I have to reimburse my crew members, and I could be doing other things with all of that time, so I'd at least like some kind of compensation for my work.
Sorry for the tirade, this just really bugged me today.
