I'm starting to come to the conclusion that some people spend time with me, not because they necessarily like me, but because when I'm in large groups, my social anxiety causes me to become incredibly impulsive, and engage in behaviors that seem like one part Hunter S. Thompson, and another part the Joker. Now, I understand most people aren't used to such things, so it could be fun. When someone comes over and asks me why I'm not doing something borderline insane (as though there's something wrong with me for this), and getting bored or let down when I tell them I'm not always like that, It makes me feel like people come to see a show, and not spend time with me.
Maybe it's just all in my head.
