i need to feel one bit of the passion that i felt radiating of your skin and cooling on mine in the night in the air in the ocean breeze in the fire. it whispered on me but whispers are faint, faiding, gone.
this is what i want:
i want you and a distraction from you. something black, breathing blue. something night, more than evening, more than dusk, lit by flame. blow it out in a moment. what would i do in the fading light? what if i couldn't tell? what if i moved my hand; if i didn't know, could i breathe?
but it wouldn't matter. i accomodate nothing of distraction; only failing light. one day blaring.
one night to doubt. one night to breathe.
one night not to exist.
