I was bored so I decided to go through my old laptop and found a bunch of poems I wrote that I completely forgot about... Here's my personal favorite.

M y p e r f e c t d r u g

I am not your life
I will never be
Realize this

I do not hate you
You're everything to me
We can fix this
I just need your help

I feel dead inside
You've corrupted me
It feels like heroin
You're my methamphetamine

We have to learn how to deal
Or we're going to lose
Not an object, something surreal
Steal the map that we call a brain

With our heart set a flutter
We will lose our way in life
That cannot be
I need this love....
