It's 3:09 AM PST and I JUST got back from Eppy the third.
BELIEVE THE HYPE.
I went into this expecting it to be better than the rest of the prequel trilogy, and am suprised I am reporting it here as my second favorite Star Wars film usurping A New Hope to tak the #2 slot right behind Empire Strikes Back (still number one!)
Now don't get me wrong, I have bitchy whining and moaning about it just like every TRUE fan will.
So here goes: (Spoilers below)

We knew it was coming... but of course it was the only thing that could turn any man to evil that was Ankin's Downfall: Women. Ever since the begining women have been blamed for the fall of man ("Hey Adam, want some fruit?" "Sure, Eve...") and star wars is no different.
Palpatine's jobs were too easy. He killed Kit Fisto with a stray shot while dueling Windu, He turned Anakin with barely any effort. He just made a few phone calls and said "code 66" and all the Jedi were eliminated." I wish I could rid myself of my enemies as easily. And the senate not only didn't fight the Empire taking control, but apaulded it, no public resistance at all. :p
I know a series of jokes: What do you call a man with no arms and no legs on a barbacue? Frank! What do you call a man with no arms and no legs on your doorstep? Mat! What do you call a man with no arms and no legs in the water? Bob! What do you call a man with no arms and no legs burning to death on a lava world? Anni!
2 complaints about Anni's trun to Vader: THE Y STILL NEVER EXPLAINED WHY VADER! (or sidious for that matter) and the whole "I just got all my arms and legs cut off burned alive and am now more machine than man, but is my wife okay? I killed her? NOOOOOOOOO!" other than that, it was fairly well dealt with.
Grevious was the highest potential villian since Vader or Palpatine. and I felt let down by his involvement in the movie, it seemed he existed soley to draw Kenobi away while Anakin turned evil and destroyed the temple.
Windu, the only non-major Jedi character I liked died in a rather unsatisifying way, it seemed he should have expected Anakin's turn as he had even mentioned the "confusion" he felt within Anakin. IT just seemed like Anakin's betrayal came as too much of a shock and too pivotal of a momnet.
Continuity errors on my mind as I write this:
* In Extended Universe materials, C3P0 says he has never had a memory wipe.
*The constrution of the first Death Star took 18 years, yet the second took 4?
*The lack of trees and treetop viliages on Kashyyk.
*Ob-Wan appears to have aged 30+ years in 18, while Palpatine appears to have barely aged at all and not used darkside power (which they showed does damage your body - something holds true to the extended universe!)
Thankfully, more Novels, Comics, TV and Animated series will help answer some to the burning questions and fill in some of the gaps (or spacle over the continuity errors.)
But even so, I was overall pleased with this film, it turly brought things full circle.
