housing at RIC sucks ass anyways. there are a few decent dorms, but I lived in them for 2 years and then opted to be a commuter. (granted i do live right around the corner) i hope your exams are going well also. i have 3 left, and two 7-10 page papers to do before I'm all done. don't stress about going to RIC. it may not be the most social school in the world, but it is a really good school for the money. whats your major going to be? my number one piece of advice for you if you do end up going to RIC is get an advisor right away, and make sure they tell you exactly what classes you need to take. if you don't do that, you will be stuck at RIC and never leave like me.

I understand where you're coming from. I've been considering distancing myself from a lot of the people I hang out with now for a lot of reasons. I've realized that a lot of them are pretty shallow and don't give a shit about anything but having a good time.
