Today was spent making fresh sqeezed lemonade and Cleaning and organizing my garage. I feel that I suceeded in both today.

While cleaning out a garage sounds like a simple task in spring cleaning, it wasn't. It was Xtreme!!! Yes that's right folks, I was cleaning my garage while mountain biking and diving off cliffs.

Honestly though, having serious allergies and cleaning an old, dusty place that hasn't been touched since my family threw all of our junk in their during the move is a serious task.

By the way, if anyone ended up reading my last entree, I apoligize. For the last two weeks i've done nothing but spend nights drinking and smoking pot. Not in the Its-summer-and-I-can-party-with-my-friends but in the Drinking with family members and smoking when they go to sleep. That time of everyday, no-joy-needed chemical abuse just leads to a depressing time. I could still be productive during the daytime and at work, but it was such a pathetic and lonely experience that towards the end it really started effecting my moods. That last entree was a low point.

Moral of the story, Don't do drugs and drink lots of milk!

In other news, I reciently completed Chuck Palahniuk's latest book "Haunted" along with the classic "Electric Koolaid Acid Test" by Tom Wolf. Chuck's one of my favorite authors, but I have to admit he's really beating a dead horse with his recient books. It's coming to my attention that he doesn't change his voice in any of his novels and basically all his books have been rehashing the same old themes of fight club; this last one taking shock value to the point of ridiculousy.

Wolf's classic really kicks some goddamn ass I must say. It was really interesting reading about the whole psychedelic movement; specifically how Ken Kesey is such a goddamn enigmatic figure. I had read his first two major novels before reading this and I was always curious about who could write such amazing stuff. From reading the book about him he really is a captivating person.

So after these two I've got the ball in motion for craving some novels over the summer. I'm thinking of checking out some more works by bukowski, re-reading Catch 22, some more Hunter S. Thompson (still haven't read Fear and Loathing)

Anything else people can think of would be much appreciated

Also, for those who want to congradulate a great gal, look no further than Kay_ on her graduating RISD, one of the best art schools in the country!
