I have things that are worthwhile to say, but I'm trying to avoid the realization the driving force in my life is observing my own grief and torment. So instead i'll talk about something a little more....light.
When did me being funny turn into me being creepy? I mean honestly, I admit that I love the twisted, but seriously, lately I'll say something that I think is fucking hilarious and will get dead silence from the people around me.
Case in point:
At one point at lunch this week my very skinny friend Chris challenged my other friend Kate to a fight, and the usual "I'm a guy challenging a girl to a fight" hilarity commenced, and of course everyone agreed that Kate would kick his ass, which was probably the truth considering he's around 5'9"ish and weighs 120 pounds....but then i threw in "but does anyone realize how funny it would actually be to see Chris take it completely serious and attack her?" Silence and a general "we're not going to acknowledge he just said that" all around. Maybe my timing was off or something, because I thought that was much more deserved a laugh.
I've always believed in two people joking about fighting, and then one taking it serious and then going CRAZILY VIOLENT would be a hilarious site. Especially when is a guy fighting a girl. It's just wrong enough to be right.
other things i think are funny:
seeing someone be so lazy that when they throw something away and miss, they just sigh depressingly and walk away.
When someone tells me that i look like or have something amazingly in common with another person such as having the exact same name or birthday, tell that person that I want to fight the person i have something in common with.

Okay. Basically you could say that anytime there is an inappropriate reaction to something, I think it's hilarious. Is that wrong? Childish?
Eh?

you've got quite a little debate going on in your journal. that must be interesting for you.
i think you are funny, but i think most people just don't get your sense of humor. you shouldn't take it as a bad thing.
