I'm a big sucker for time capsules.
In 8th grade they gave me a time capsule that I was supposed to have gotten when I graduated high school. I wish to god that I could have gotten that damn thing, but I was at another school.

Today is the day before my sophomore year of college starts up. And I figure I'll make a little list of things to say to my future self, a sort of To Do thing. And hopefully I'll remember.



Dear Alex of the future,

I hope to GOD you've made some progress on the guitar. I mean, you paid enough for the new one, and you've been playing long enough so that it shouldn't be this hard. I dunno, maybe were going to have to start hearing the guitar....I dunno.

Umm I hope throwing goes well this year. I mean, we're definitely out of shape and I hope that you find time to work out with school and work and everything. We're fat and lazy, lets face it. Oh, and I hope our goddamn school found a throwing coach.

I hope you're social life isn't too damn affected by living at home. And if we're not living at home, I hope you got that apartment. Dad just turned us down about the whole thing with moving up with April. I hope it works out one way or the other.

We've got to stop letting life pass us by and do something. It's not right damnit.

I hope things are better.
