I just got done watching A Pefect Circle in the best venue ever. The PPAC. Those who don't know, think gold enlayed carvings and enscriptions with a 100ft dome ceiling. It's supposed to be a grand opera house and its the size of a high school auditorium.
APC ROCKED!! I've never seen maynard say so many things..some quotes that stood out:
"Alright folks were just gonna give you all we got. gonna put it all out for ya. This isn't dave mathews"
"What...no wait, where do penguins store their money? You guys don't know? Snow Banks"
At one point the drummer thought they were going into a song they weren't so he started doing a lil hi-hat intro to it, but then once the band set him straight maynard said "Drum solo by Josh Freese everyone"
The light show was really interactive. For a hard rock band, they really were creative. Maynard's voice was amazing though, and I was really surprised with how good the drummer really was. AWESOME show.
P.S. I even saw an old best friend of mine, it was really nice seeing him, but it's too bad things aren't like they were.
