I'm feeling better.

I don't have much to say but I feel like blogging anyway. It's raining outside and I am enjoying hot coffee and warm snuggly socks. I am blowing off work and working from home today. I think that I will take a bath. Relaxing is the key for today.

I learned to knit yesterday. Now I have another expensive habit. Hooray!!! It is much easier than I thought it would be (even though I only know one stitch.) Casting on is hard but the knitting is fun and relaxing. I love the way the needles and yarn feel in my hands. Mmmm.... very happy now.

It's raining and I am finally home. Today has been longer than most and now I think I am getting a cold. Yeah, yeah... bitch, bitch, bitch. I must remember to be grateful. I will remember to be grateful for all things. I'll teach myself to knit tomorrow. Now where is that wine...

I cannot believe that I am awake. I am exhausted and sick but I cannot sleep to save my life. I have a meeting in an hour (ugh!) and my entire head feels like it is filled with fluid. Oh Lord, help me through this day and get me back to my bed in one piece.

It finally rained last night. The air was getting thick. I am so happy that summer is finally over. I am not looking forward to going into work today. Haven't had a day off in a couple weeks.
