I am feeling sad.
A boy in the community where I live killed himself. I didn't know him personally but he was a friend of many of my neighbors. He was only a junior in high school and he shot himself with a gun his grandfather gave to him. He left no note and no one knows why he did it. According to everyone I know he was a happy kid.
It is scary to imagine what lurks in the anxieties of a child that could cause him to end his own life. So many children can look so peaceful on the surface while on the inside they are screaming.
