I've decided to start participating in the blog home works each week after seeing my only one on the front page 😆
This weeks topic is 'what skill would you like to acquire' and let me tell you I'm allllllll about new skills. I am always open to learning new things and broadening my horizon and all that fun stuff.
In the past I've taken dance lessons, art classes, singing lessons, taught myself some craft/jewelry making from YouTube videos.. Literally anything that I am slightly interested in I usually just go for. Having the attention span of a toddler makes it hard for me to stick with one thing long enough to master it though... I can't be the only one with that problem, can I?
My newest interest is glass blowing! I've been following @bittersweet on Instagram and seeing her adventures at glass blowing events and I'm in awe of some of the pieces people make! I mean sure being a stoner the bowls and bongs initially got my attention. But once I looked into it some of the other, non smoking related, pieces that people create I was hooked.
I would absolutely LOVE to be able to create such masterpieces like these. And the possibilities are endless! I obviously wouldn't be making such detailed and eccentric pieces at first 😂 maybe a wine glass to start lol but I found some classes and workshops in my area and am starting to save so I can sign up (cause they are super pricey) You guys will be the first to know once I finally do!
