In two days I'll be cigarette free for a year. I can hardly believe it's been that long already. I got to thinking about this past year and everything that has happened, good and bad. Honestly I don't feel like the same person I was. And I'm not really sure if it's for the better or not, but I definately feel older and wiser. Maybe not wiser as much as more seasoned.
I've loved and lost, I loved and lost again, which led to meeting a wonderful guy. Made lots of new friends who are now displaced all over the country. Been disappointed by friendships that didn't work out. Got 2 "promotions" but still hate my job. Enrolled in dance class, had 2 performances, and that's still going strong. Been on meds, gotten off meds, switched meds, need an advil right now. Acquired new family members, had cancer affect one but she is beating it! Found out more about my past and birthparents and their history, had to let one go. Saw some great concerts, missed others. Oh yeah, and I finally found my favorite hair color...for now
All in all it's been a pretty good year, and I am excited to see what the next one will bring.

congrats, love!!! you already know that i am proud of how far you have come along. it's been a few years in the making, but lookie at you. me, too. crazy how things change in such a little amount of time. we are in this together for the long haul. so, nyc for halloweenie? tell karin & pingz!!! xoxo.
