Yay! I'm too excited!! I'm leaving today to run off to Austin to play with my friends! So no Mardi Gras excitement for me this year. All my excitement is in Tejas! I am kinda bummed though that I'll be missing the Fetish Ball, oh maybe I'll make it for their Halloween gig. But somehow I think Austin's going to be better.
Mark your calendars: I am still performing the 18th at the Hookah Cafe in NOLA and can't wait. We had a full dress rehersal last night and it is coming along smashingly! Especially for a group of girls/women who have been dancing for less than a year. But Noura (my teacher) gave me another ego boost. Since there's limited space we can only have a limited number of dancers. She sent out an e-mail last week asking for the first 5 people to sign up. Well I never got an email, so when I found out one had gone out I asked her if there was still room (ok I ran to her in a panic) cause I never got the e-mail and she tells me that she didn't send it to me cause she didn't want to give me the option to back out!! I heart Noura!
