Thank you everyone for your kind words. The procedure was nothing, if not just gross. I have a weak stomach so every tug of the stitches I thought I was going to barf. Stitches come out next Monday and I really want to get them photographed before while they're still puffy and gross. Speaking of photographs, I had my first real photoshoot on Friday. Here...

I've only ever had oral surgery. The first time was under general anesthesea to remove 4 wisdom teeth. It felt weird going under the anesthetic...it was like being sleepy but not really. It was a deep sleep but no dreams...a morbid thought -- I wonder if that's what lethal injection is like?
Anyway, subequent oral operations were under local...it was weird feeling things being pulled and moved that normally don't get pulled or moved!

We were in the French Quarter from Sunday until Wednesday. We were going to stay until Friday morning but I ended up getting a job interview for Friday. So now we are back in Dallas. Damn, I wish we had known you were out there. The more the merrier for bar & stripjoint hopping on Burbon.
