Go fucking team! I played netball tonight for the first time since I messed up a couple of fingers over a month ago. The first game we lost by 5 and I didn't play too well, but in the second game I was part of a team of randoms as a team had pulled out and we kicked arse!
I debuted at Goal Defence for the first two quarters and played quite well before dropping back to Goal Keeper for a quarter. In the final quarter as we were kicking arse so much I played Goal Shooter for the first time and scored about 3 goals from 4 shots and made some good rebounds.
The icing on the cake was the incredibly cute, incredibly nice teammate who is roughly my height. Sadly I don't think the WeAreSilver charm offensive had any immediate effect, but we'll definitely put her in the 'one to watch' category...
