so the new year has hit and i get to leave this hell soon and return to germany. i can hardly wait. so far 2005 is going better than i hoped. besides leaving iraq, ive met someone who has the uncanny ability to make me smile-- not just a smile, more like big dopy looking grin. smiles dont cross my face very often and this is a smile times 10. being happy rocks. still it looks like its going to be a task to hold on to that though. the army has an uncanny abilty to fuck shit up for me. suppose the best i can do is put forth all my effort. shes definatly not something im willing to give up without an all out fight. my biggest fear right now is that this will end before we have chance for a really good start. ive got my fingers and toes crossed.....
