august? yes, august! for those who live in italy, some love it and some hate it. it's the month when everyone is looking for escape from the cities.. and for those who live nearby holiday spots it's sometimes a right pain in the ass!

it's also the period when everyone asks you where you'll spend your holidays, and that's tricky.. if you can go somewhere, it's a lovely question, but these days italians are rather poor and not many can go far, or even have holidays.

i'm lucky: i had my break in june, half work and half holiday, i don't complain about spending time in the city, since i am a city dweller, and i spend time travelling when i have things to do around, rather than working my ass off all year waiting for mass holiday time. this means that i will spend my august in town (which is very nice, without the usual chaotic traffic of italian cities), apart from a short break in berlin and a quick visit to copenaghen.
then back to normal life, if you can call it normal...
