A week ago my big gay friend garret says "oh my god I have the sweetest job opportunity for you! My like boss's boss needs like a wine girl for his restaurant and you'd totally knock him dead! Oh but you can't have any piercings in or visable tattoos cuz it's a super fancy shmancy traditional italian place -you know like Really italian. So yah, we'll so go shopping and get you all dolled up and get a wig to cover your [streched] ears and a nice dress and new shoes -oooh we'll have so much fun shopping together - my friend joey across the street will totally cut and style any wig exactly how you want it! He's so amazing at styling -but don't ever let him colour your hair more than twice cuz....." and on and on. He then called his boss's boss who is actually his bosses business partner and hooked up an interview. Easter monday I go in to the interview with my new long black wig, tight black fancy dress and the shoes I wore to prom. I guess he liked what he saw and heard cuz I was there for over an hour and got to start on thursday. Talk about stress! I haven't had a real job in over 2 years. Of course after all that buildup I get an anxiety attack on the way home. Fuck those are scary! And they really suck. Too much stress for poor little me.... So I'm the only girl that works in this place... My position is like a bit of an experiment -"men are more willing to buy drinks from a girl, so go try to seduce them into spending all they're money on booze. If it works and we make money you get to keep the job". I worked (well, got trained) lunch on thursday and friday and everything is pretty cool. I figure it'll be fun to be all posh all the time, and look almost completly different (I'll post pictures so ya'll can see the difference). I bet once I'm on evenings in the summer it'll be totally surreal...
So my big news is that I now have a real tax paying job and have been stressed out and busy for the last week and am just calming down. And i saw sin city and IT RULES SO MUCH I COULD PUKE !!! I don't have an animal this week cuz my computer is gay and takes forever to do anything on it and I'm not in the mood to screw around with it -especially since there are whipped cream topped strawberries afoot...
