Saturday:

Edwin came over around 10:30AM and we ate breakfast burritos and watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (best movie ever), then headed out to Moser Mountain.

We arrived at Moser Mountain around 12:20. HOLY SHIT, Neal Moser and Earlleen are the nicest people in the whole world. Neal started out by giving us a tour of the guitar shop and literally showed us all the steps to building a guitar. We talked guitar and how to build guitars for at least an hour and a half it was really awesome, it was finally something that I really enjoyed talking about. Neal asked for the Templar bass that I brought so he could see where I wanted the pickup installed and what electronics I wanted with it. After going over the pickup installation, I told Neal that I brought my ironbird bass for a quick quote for a refurbish. Neal looked over it (the ironbird) for a while and told me that it could either be a 1989, 1990, or a custom shop bass (Im hoping for that), I ended up leaving the bass at his place so he could give me an exact quote. Later on, we went into the house where Neal showed us some of his person collection/prototypes. Not long after looking at Neal's personal collection he plugged in his personal wraith and started to play us a few riffs and songs, I must say that that guitar was the nicest guitars I've ever heard in my entire life. When Neal stopped playing Edwin asked if he could try it out and he did, Edwin was in awe at how nice the guitar felt and I have to say that's the best sounding playing from Edwin that I have ever heard. When Edwin stopped playing Neal said he had something to show me, which was a surprise for me, big time, he leaves the room and comes back with a real nice shotgun with glitter rock white painted wood and blued metal. I'm not a big fan of the kind of shotgun he showed me but it was definitely the nicest I've ever seen. We were on our way out after talking about something a friend whose house burned down when we got into talking about Earlleen's hobby, genealogy; she told us a lot about her family, which was very interesting and pointed Edwin and me in the direction of getting started on doing our own genealogy, which we might do. After talking about that, we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.
