I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. I can't pick one favorite movie.
I can however tell you some of my favorites, and of course they aren't stand alone movies, I fall in love with series. I'm the same way with books that when I can have a long over-arching evolving story line I am much happier.
First off, Pirates of the Caribbean.
Yes I will admit that I have a crush on Johnny Depp. However I love pirate stories to begin with and I instantly fell in love with the story of these movies. I especially love the wit and character interactions in the series. Watching Elizabeth grow into herself and become a fierce pirate king is of course something I can support.
Second series, The Mummy.
Again, I love the series as a whole, and will watch any of them anytime I can. They are a damn good adventure, with humor thrown in and who doesn't have a fascination with Egypt? Oh and the guy that played Ardeth Bay is hot with a capitol H. And the ride at Universal Studios was one of my favorites.
Third series, Harry Potter.
I love the books and the movies equally for different reasons. I know a lot of people where angry that parts had to be shifted or left out to make the movies work, but I think the movies can stand alone. And yes I have read the series multiple times. Order of the Phoenix is my favorite one. I also fell in love with Sirius in the books. Do you sense a theme here for the kind of man I'm attracted to? If not the next one should give it away.
Fourth series, X-Men.
Wouldn't it be cool if our DNA starting mutating? Again, I love the whole series. I will watch them whenever I can. However I have a huge soft spot in my heart for Logan. He's really hot, and ripped, but for some reason the dark, loner not-meant-to-be-a-hero heroes are the ones that I fall in love with. Each of the characters has their own personality, and they are very definitely flawed. And I love that.
Oh and of course I love Disney movies. Don't know if my favorite is Mulan, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, or Beauty and the Beast.
