sometimes yah have to call in sick and take care of home stuff. I got 365.4 hours of sick time, so it don't hurt nothing one bit .

vacation was good. I went back for an overtime shift the other day and we had a wildland fire that burned 3 homes to the ground. It was quite the event. I hate to see folks lose everything like that, but at least no one was hurt.

I got sick last week. Been working alot, and they have been busy shifts. Had a tough call with a little boy that got a dog bite to the face. I'm still seeing it in my head from time to time. it will fade. The kid will recover, scars for certain, but that's life.
