On the downside. Word at a recent meeting at my station is that I don't have a position once I get my paramedic. Yep. They don't want to pay me more.
I seen this coming so I'm not really surprised. But it is disheartening. So I'll still have a job but I can use any of the skills I have been learning and using for the last year, and no pay increase. So It is looking like i'll be looking for a new job next year.
*sigh* More people here are upset about this than I am at this point. I guess they didn't think about it like I did. Maybe now they understand

that sucks that they don't want to pay you more but i can't say i'm surprised. a lot of places are like that no matter what. but at least your almost done! ^_^
