ok.
so .. as you all expected.. here is my entry about the show.
***ahem***


we got in line on wednesday at 11:30 pm. me my 13 year old sister and my dad, it was sooo cold outside .. and of course .. being so excited to be first in line.. ( and knowing that for sure we had FRONT ROW CENTER TICKETS ) we didn't realise that we didn't bring enough food. we didn't bring enough blankets. and it was gonig to rain ..
and me and my sister didn't bring somthing nice to change into for the show.
we didn't care. it was worth it . at about 12:30 some other people showed up. and boy they were pissed that we were first.. HA !
so all of us huddled together.. all night. we ordered pizza to the front of the theatre. my little sister was having a blast.. we played cards .. told jokes.. played games..
it was a lot of fun. except for the random hobo's asking if we wanted drugs.. or if we wanted to give them money.. *SIGH*
at about 9 the next morning other people started showing up.. but there were only 20 tickets ( first 2 rows) that were being sold for 20$ and after the thrid set of people came all 20 tickets were gone.

so all day we turned people down .. and they left . it was so horrible. but they were showing up like a hour before the tickets went on sale. and we were there for 18 hours before the tickets went on sale. so tough luck for them i suppose...

finally. after 18 hours out in the cold & the rain.. me and my little sister and my father had our little hands on our front row center RENT tickets.
we were bouncing off walls. my dad went home to shower.. but me and my sister didnt want to leave.. ( and we didn't have enough money 2 if we wanted to 2 )
i forgot to bring makeup .. so we went into the eatons center and put on makeup and LOTS of perfume.. ( we stunk sooo badly)
finally.
8 o'clock came.
20 hours outside and we were allowed to go into a warm building. with squishy chairs. and we were taken to our seats...
FRONT ROW FUCKING CENTER !!!!! HELL YEAH !! it was worth the wait !!!!!!
the set was SOOOOOO good.
Bikes.. christmas lights.. brick walls. old clothes.
the show started. and the cast sang RENT
i cried . so badly. i was SOBBING like a baby i was so happy..... my body got goosebumps. and i couldnt stop shaking. my sister was crying she was so happy. and the show was more then i could ever imagine.
every song...every detail...everything. was perfect. and all the EXTRA STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they sang seasons of love in the beginning of the second half of the play. and i couldn't help it .. i was singing along and dancing and crying it was sooooo beautiful. and the guy who played collins. yeah. he had the best voice i have ever heard. and he pointed at me!!!!!! while singing seasons!!!!! i started crying harder...( yes i am aware that i cried A LOT last night)
the movie was CRAP compared to seeing it live. when the over the moon part came on i almost peed myself because the girl who plays maureen was sooooooo funny !
and we all mooed.

when mimi sang out tonight i was dancing in my chair. ( and she totally did the sparkle thing )

if me and my sister had more money.. we would have gotten right back in the line. for todays show.

it was so good. i have never been so happy about a show .. ever. even the cast was crying at the end when they came out to bow !!!!

best show i have ever seen.
ever.


now i am going back to bed . because i am effing tired.




there's only us... theres only this... forget regret.....or life is yours to miss.. no other road no other way... NO DAY BUT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
