SG VS GG - A year in review
I've been a member of Suicide Girls for almost five years. I love it. I've made friends on this site, and I even met my girlfriend (whom I love so damn dearly) on this very site. Now a little over a year ago a friend I made on here, who was on the hopefuls section (Marley) informed me she was leaving and she was accepted on Gods Girls. I decided to go and check it out. The year subscription I paid was about the price of a year on SG, maybe a little cheaper. My subscription on GG is up so I decided to review the site(s) for you fine chaps out there.
And I won't get into the political matters between sites (model pay, contracts, and such disputes.) Those are things that are out of my control.
Now before I go into the details, I've been a member on a few of SG's competitors (as if they even made a dent in comparison). Those sites are thatbirdsnest.com and manicjane.com. I have a friend who modeled on their sites. Those sites don't even BEGIN to compare to SG. A lot of the sets are DIY (shot with a self timer or had a friend shot them,) no real professionalism into the sets. They were pretty boring and quite frankly a lot of the models were ugly.
As for GG, it was very different that those other "competitors." Many of the sets were well shot and the models were quite attractive. Many of the sets are tastefully done. And there are many that are not. A lot that are just dumb. A huge portion of the sets are DIY. Low quality, crappy angles, more about girls just being naked for the sake of naked than posing or looking like a pin-up.
A kind of big difference between the two sites is GG sets are less tasteful. They show a lot of vag. A LOT. Almost every set has vag. And now they have approved of "hardcore" sets. So far there is about five or six. These sets involve vaginal penetration. One set involves a dildo, one a finger, and one even has a crucifix. Sure, if SG were to greenlight the IDEA of penetration, I can guarantee the girl would do it in a slightly more tasteful manner, but that would pretty much defeat the purpose of the site involving art erotica and making it porn. In the GG forums, members are requesting anal penetration and some of the models are joking about trying it out. Or is it not a joke??
Speaking of forums, thats all GG Has. Is forums. That's it. They don't have even a milimeter of the community that SG has. Here people are almost like a family. I didn't even go into that section of the website until a few years ago and I'm pissed at myself for that. Why didn't anyone tell me?? It's great having a place to : post a blog, some pictures, a video, go chat and learn up to date info on my favorite things like video games and movies. GG has almost nothing in comparison. Thier chats aren't even close to comparing to YAHOO CHATS!! They suck.

I went hiatus on SG for a while because I was broke. I was gone for about a year or so. They sent me an offer and I got a year for cheap as hell! Not a bad deal. And if you let your account got inactive for a while, they want you back and they'll probably give you killer deals, or if you wait and they offer a cheap membership thru MySpace or Facebook.
GG's "special" price? Thru MySpace : $50/Year. That's their SPECIAL deal? Fuck that. $10/30 Days and $20/90 Days. So their "MySpace Special" is almost the same price as SG's regular price. Their year is actually two dollars more than SG. Wow, great deal there.
So, am I going to be a member on both sites after my subscription of GG is up Feb 22nd? No. SG has my heart.
