FINALLY DONE! SWEET! Wrote Ores this morning, with no help from James!
Which might be my fault because supposedly the system to communicate between blogs is fucked up. If I make a blog and someone comments on it, I should respond to that comment in my own blog. That way the conversation is all contained. This 'inclination' for everyone to post replies to comments in other peoples blogs is silly. I understand that no one knows, as in there is no blazing signage displayed when you log in, that I have made a reply within my blog? Perhaps such a feature is needed? Or perhaps I'm just too lazy to look for it. Whatever.
Back to ORES! SWEET! I think the final went ok and as far as I know (only have the grades of 7 of 11 people) but I currently have the highest mark for my Ore Suite report. I'm pretty freakin stoked. Some people were bitching about their grades not being as 'high' as they should be because of improper citation. But you know what? That's part of writing a paper. It may not have anything to do with your knowledge of geology or you suite in general but it's still a part of the paper writing process. And I'm sorry to those that didn't cite properly but it's not up to professors to make sure you know how to cite. It's up to you. You're in your fourth year of university, maybe fifth or sixth, you should know how to cite references properly.
Oh yeah, I've also learnt that I don't 'meet' the requirements to join the SG Canada West Group. I'd be devastated if it wasn't for the fact that I never applied and didn't want to join anyway. All I hear about this group is drama, drama, drama. Perhaps they should let people into their little group that they actually know and not random people that make a few comments on a digital message board. CHEAP SHOT!
So that's it for my bitch fest. WOOHOO! NO MORE CLASS UNTIL JANUARY!!!
