I'll be flying to Denver for about a week to help teach my dad to walk and to read.

How's that for role inversion?

i'd say you could look at it like a wonderful opportunity to return the favor. how many kids get to do that for the parents who gave up their own lives to raise you? (not that i claim to know anything about your family....) good luck.
tronvillain:
Wow, sorry to hear about your dad. Good luck.

I'm not pregnant.

This is the outcome I wanted. I didn't want to have to make that choice.

So why do I feel like I've lost someone?

....In the last day I have been held at a distance, thinking my father would never wake up. And I have been held in fear, thinking I was not only responsible for his life, but new lives.

Where...

I've been in the same situation -- twice -- and both times there was a tinge of regret underlying the massive relief. I think it's just something deeply instinctual in women that makes us just WANT BABIES sometimes. At least you didn't have to make that choice.

i understand
(as much as a guy can)
it's hard
dealing with emotions
and thoughts of that magnitude
a child
a life

you have a lot
to deal with as it is
it is probably good
that it isn't now
it will happen
hopefully when you want it to

take care....

Someone sawed open my father's skull today.

They drained the blood, and did away with a chunk of his brain.

I didn't know my father was sick.

Apparently he had a stroke.

Apparently he had an aneurism.

Apparently part of his body was paralyzed.

Apparently part of his brain died.

My mother called me at work today. She said "Dad's in...

some days I feel very full.

bursting with thoughts and ideas.

literally composing two songs at once in my head, while planning strategies to acquire rights, and wondering what's for dinner (ice cream?)

Hi there. Great photos of Auz and NZ. Ahhh...memories.

I think you're also the only person I've seen here who has POE listed in your fav bands. She's wicked. Oh...heads up, Pacifier has changed their name back to Shihad as of the last album. I saw them at Homebake in Sydney back in '99. They rock.

m69:
Well....I know you don't care, but they changed their name after 911 because it is pronounced Jiihad. After a couple of years as Pacifier they said "fuck it" and changed it back.

Oh yeah..I'm a wealth of useless music trivia when it comes to Australasian rock bands.

Happy times, Silverchair is back in the studio.

Spent the day in various states of undress, being physically attacked by ladyk (she's quick to point out the fact that I requested the attacks) and being photographed by thedvsmonkey. They're so cute and domesticated.

I forget how much I miss people.

I'm on a calendar!!

If you, like so many others, really wish that I were in your home, pinned (painlessly) to a wall, all your dreams are belong to true.

There are a lot of hott ladies that I've had various forms of kissing and sexing with on this calendar. And there are a few uglies thrown in to make the rest of us look...

Nice smile Congratulations on making the calendar (you both look great).
annica1:
Who, exactly, do you mean when you say "uglies"? Do they know who they are? I think they probably did the calendar to feel sexy themselves, not to make the rest of you look prettier.
You aren't generally mean. What's with that?

The problem is that I'm very gay right now and that is hurting the person I love.

And that my perfect job is turning out to leave me at the perimeter of my dreams.

And that I want to save everyone, even if it means I poison myself.

So I tear off my clothes, and I fling paint at the wall. I toss my hands...

Okay. Understood and acknowledged, dearest.

Boy/work/school is gonna be nutso this week. I have work tomorrow. I have boy on Monday night. I have work Tuesday (at the NEW place!). I have school Wednesday night and Thursday night (6-9 both nights). I have work Friday until 8, and boy coming into town as usual on Friday. I have work Saturday until 8 or so, and not sure if boy will still be in town. But I do have Sunday off...maybe boy and I could kidnap you to Buffalo Grove on Sunday, strip you naked, scratch you to shreds, and take pictures of it? wink

Life is fucked.

Breaking up with Mandy after all. Love and respect professed. We're both in tears.

But we can't stay friends. Not through this.

She may press charges against Brendan. There was no rape, just a girl too shy to say no. But I'm not going to tell her my opinion, because she needs to make her own choice, not mine.

He's talking about...

Shouldn't you be out partying? I miss you too.

I don't know about Mandy but I'm sorry.
