Editing the bloody book, damnit.

Am I enthused to be editing? Nah, not really. But it has to be done, alas, and tonight is the night that I rework the opening chapters for my next round of queries.

This would be draft five.... There is always something more that can be polished.

I'm thinking I may start recording myself reading a chapter at a time so I can sit back and listen to it...always good to get a fresh perspective. I've been pondering posting the read-alouds online somewhere, but I'm not sure if I wanna. Could be a cool way to share the story and maybe get some sort of audience built....or could be inviting plagiarism or criticism of a work in progress.... Thoughts? Feelings? Confessions?
