I saw this kid in the bus station, a bit too heavy for his fishnet shirt....he looked a lot like a highschool friend's baby brother.

I wanted to walk up to him and say "hey, did your sister ever catch you in her room, masturbating, and wearing her lipstick?" but I thought better of it.

Aren't I nice?

Ugh! I just posted a roommate search on Craigs List and I'm getting so many responses from so many amazing people with great places. And I can't figure out how to choose between them all. I feel like I'm going to be heartbroken about every single place I don't move into, regardless of where I end up.

I hate trying to be a grown-up!!

pornoland is always just a click away. there's a satellite dedicated to the internet and phone services for the station. It's not the speediest connection in the world but it works most of the time. There are actuallt three different US stations down here and we are here to "support science" I do facilities maintenance. Fix all the heating, furnaces, HVAC stuff as well as everything else. Keeping the place warm and working for the winter staff of 200. Bacause we are in the southern hemisphere, it's winter here and we have 24hrs of darkness for about 4 months. The first sunrise is in about 2 weeks though. Yay!!! We work all day. Well, we work 9hrs a day 6 days a week. We get sundays off. During the winter, we also get the first saturday of the month off. So our last 2 day weekend was this weekend. I get to leave in two weeks! yay!!! There are lots of things to do on our days off. My team came in second in the bowling league. There are some different crafts rooms, like sewing and ceramics. There are a couple of bars, a smoking bar, a non-smoking bar, and a coffee/wine bar. There are a few gyms; aerobics, weight, and basketball. A band room and there are some great bands. We have some very talented artists and musicians down here. Last year there was a band that got started. 4 girls that had never played any instruments got together and learned how to play and ended up with 4 songs in the end. It was pretty cool and the band name was "Nasty Snatch." It was pretty amazing. smile The coolest thing now are the auroras and the clouds. I need to add some more pics... The SGAntarctica group had some pretty cool pics as well if you'd like to check it out.

is it a physical pain or ♥ache? kiss

Can I just rant? I'm going to, regardless of if anyone wants to read it.

I'm moving to Chicago.

I decided this about 6 months ago. I really want to show up in town, bags in hand, and just make it work--you know....find a place to live, find a place to work, figure things out.

The thought terrifies me, yes, but I think it's a...

Oh please, take me with you! I knew I should've caught up with you here in NZ, married you and moved away with you.

Chicago's where I want to live! For so long I've wanted to live there.

I'm going to go buy a Lotto ticket now, which of course means you'll be seeing me soon.
dangerobby:
I didn't make it to buy my ticket in time, so it'll be next week before I win my millions.

I should probably warn you that in any conventional sense I'd make a lousy husband, but I'm willing to keep you happy with my money.

From technicolor to black and white? I'd cry too.

Thank you for the tip, but I was already aware of Drew's lovely site. I've read many a script from there.
dangerobby:
So long from the southern hemisphere. I like having you down here even though we never got to meet.

Next time either of us is anywhere near each other I promise to make the effort. Hope you had fun.

I've listened to Simon and Garfunkel for my entire life. And I never liked this one song on my favourite album.... But it all suddenly makes so much sense and feels so right.

I was 21 when I wrote this song.
I'm 22 now, but I won't be for long.
Time carries on.
And the leaves that are green
Turn to brown.
