Well 2011 has been fun. I paid off all my student debt and moved to a one bedroom flat in a nicer part of London. I won one short story competition and wrote about 500 non-fiction articles, got a promotion at work, appeared in three plays, and went to France twice.
It's been a good year by any standards, particularly given that many of my friends are having a truly rubbish time at the moment, but it's felt like a real hard grind. And 2012 is likely to be even more of a slog.
But for now I have the best part of two weeks to relax and enjoy Christmas, so that's what I'm going to do. I don't know whether I'll get any internet access or not from my parents' place, so just in case have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!
