Ah, a new year, I've had a birthday, it's all scary stuff.

I've recently surprised myself by getting quite good at cooking. This weekend was Sirloin Steak in Mushroom Sauce, with Mushroom Stroganoff this morning. That was nice, and so is the beer I'm currently drinking.

Too Much Love Can Kill You entirely failed to provoke any producers into posting me a thick contract for a movie option, so I'm back at work. It's not bad though, people like advertising at this time of year, it seems.

I even placed another short story last week. This is just plain giddying.

I'd like to go to Italy this year.
