Our creativity, once unleashed, knows no time or space. It is like a passionate lover that demands to be heard. No wonder we are so afraid of it. It can turn our world topsy-turvy. And maybe our worlds need to be turned topsy-turvy.
When our creativity shows itself, it is now. The ideas we are having now are a result of who we are now, our life situations now, and what is going on inside us now. We will not be the same woman 15 years from now.
Expressing our creativity now in whatever form it takes is a way of enriching our lives, making us more interesting women, and releasing the tension of not creating.
I OWE IT to myself to find time for my creative self.
