well i managed to put off at least one gift until this afternoon, missed a big chunk of the vikings / green bay game for my trek but caught the traditional vikings choke at the end
ended up opening presents with my brother and his girlfriend tonight after a fine dinner of tamales. tomorrow dinner at brothers girlfriends moms house
actually, check that, i was sitting and watching tv in the living room with the background noise of them arguing in his bedroom cause he got drunk on their "first christmas eve together" so i'll see what the plan is in the morning, ooh the suspense!
it just wouldn't be christmas without bickering amongst those you love
honestly, if i had my choice, i'd go have a few beers and see life aquatic tomorrow, followed by a sunset ride up south mountain, come home, get good and stinking on fine irish whiskey and drunk dial all my friends stuck with their family
christ, i thought one of the perks of moving 1800 miles away was not having to deal with family gatherings on holidays
